Welcome to Talentnet webpage! Before engaging with this website and any associated services (henceforth referred to as the “Platform”), we kindly request that you thoroughly review the following terms and conditions.
This Platform is made available to you, the visiting user (“You,” “Your,” “Yourself”), by Talentnet Cambodia Co, LTD (hereafter “the Company”). Your use of this Platform is subject to your adherence to the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement (the “User Agreement”). By accessing and utilizing this Platform, you are affirming your commitment to abide by these terms and conditions.
If You do not fully agree to and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this User Agreement, we kindly request that you refrain from using or accessing this Platform in any capacity. Your use of this Platform is conditional upon Your unequivocal agreement to comply with the provisions set forth herein. Should You proceed to use this Platform after reviewing these terms, Your actions will be interpreted as an explicit acknowledgment and acceptance of this User Agreement.
This Agreement is made between Talentnet and You.
Modifications
The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Site after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Your use of this Site
You may access most areas of this Site without registering Your details with us. Certain areas of this Site are only open to You if You register Your personal information.
• You agree to use the Site in a manner that complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
• You shall not use the Site for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your user account.
Intellectual property:
The content, design, and software of the Site are the property of the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Site without the prior written permission of the Company.
Furthermore, you agree not to:
1. Post or transmit any material for which you have not obtained the necessary licenses and/or approvals.
2. Post or transmit inaccurate, incomplete, or false information about yourself and/or your ability to work in Cambodia or elsewhere.
3. Post any resume or apply for any job on behalf of another party.
4. Post or transmit any libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable material.
5. Post or transmit any material that contains viruses, malware, or other disabling devices that may interfere with the operation of this Platform or alter, delete, or overload information without authorization.
6. Access data or systems that you are not authorized to access.
7. Use any device, routine, or software to crash, delay, or otherwise damage the operation of this Platform.
8. Take any action that affects the Company’s reputation or that defames, abuses, harasses, or threatens others.
9. Encourage or engage in any conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law.
10. Aggregate, copy, or duplicate the contents of this Platform or any information available on it.
Additional Terms Applicable to Job Seekers
a. Types of information collected
In connection with Your use of this Site, You have the option to provide information in a number of different ways. As part of this Site, we may invite You to submit Your resume to be stored with us. When You submit Your resume we collect and store certain personally identifiable information, such as Your name, e-mail address and contact details (collectively, “Personal Data”). All information provided by You enables Talentnet and potential employers to assist You in finding suitable employment opportunities and by providing Your Persona Data, You hereby confirm Your willingness to engage MyWorld to act confidentially on Your behalf for such purposes.
b. Use of information
The information submitted and collected will be used for the purposes of recruitment and selection as part of services provided on Your behalf by Talentnet and potential employers. Other non-identifiable information may be used for the purposes of statistical analysis. We may also use Your e-mail address to contact You directly regarding services or products that we believe may be of interest to You.
c. Disclosure of information
We do not sell or rent any information we collect as part of our services to any third party. Talentnet may disclose personal data without choice or notification to fulfill certain legal and regulatory requirements.
d. Accuracy and duration of retention of Personal Data
It is important that the data provided by You are accurate and that You inform us if any information relating to Your personal data requires updating. You may request Your personal data be edited, amended or removed from our database at any time (subject to prior confirmation of identity). We will make any alteration to Your Personal Data as soon as it is conveyed to us in writing. Subject to all other relevant legislation, Your personal data will be held by Talentnet until You request its removal.
e. Ownership of Personal Data
You understand and acknowledge that You have no ownership rights in Your account and that if You cancel Your Talentnet account or Your Talentnet account is terminated, all Your account information from Talentnet, including resumes, profiles and saved jobs will be marked as deleted and may be deleted from this Sites’ databases and will be removed from any public area of this Site but You acknowledge and accept that third parties may retain saved copies of Your Personal Data. Talentnet reserves the right to delete Your account and all of Your Personal Data after an extended duration of inactivity.

Copyright in the material on this Site are owned by Talentnet and unless otherwise indicated You agree not to infringe any intellectual property rights owned by Talentnet.
No Guarantees of Job Availability
As a job applicant using this Platform, you understand and agree that Talentnet does not provide any guarantee or assurance of the continued availability of any particular job that is advertised. Talentnet makes no representations or warranties that a job posting you see on the Platform will still be open and accepting applications at the time you apply.
Talentnet will not be held liable if a potential employer has already filled a job vacancy prior to the removal of the corresponding job posting from this Platform. You acknowledge that job market conditions can change rapidly, and Talentnet has no control over when employers choose to close out job listings or hire candidates.
Additionally, while Talentnet makes reasonable efforts to ensure job advertisements represent actual open positions, Talentnet does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of every job posting. There may be instances where a job advertisement does not accurately reflect the current hiring status or needs of the employer.
As an applicant, you are responsible for verifying the status of any job you are interested in prior to submitting your application. Talentnet cannot be held accountable if you apply for a position that has already been filled or is no longer available.
Assistance with Verifying Job Posting Status
While Talentnet does not guarantee the continued availability of any advertised jobs, we do provide tools and resources to help applicants verify the status of postings they are interested in.
When viewing a job listing on our platform, we display the date the posting was last updated. This can give you a sense of how recently the employer has engaged with the listing. We recommend waiting 1-2 weeks after applying before reaching out to the listed contact for a status update. This provides enough time for the employer to review applications and begin the hiring process. They will be able to provide you with the most up-to-date information on the status of the opening and whether it is still accepting applications. No Guarantees of Service
Talentnet provides no warranty or guarantee that the services available through this Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. You understand and acknowledge that Talentnet cannot and does not guarantee or warrant that any files available for download or delivered via email through this Platform will be free from infection, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or other malicious code.
Password and Login Responsibilities
To become a registered user of this Platform, you must provide a password and a login name. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and login credentials. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your login name.
You may change your password at any time by following the provided instructions. You may also change your login name by contacting our customer service team. Additionally, you may delete any services associated with your registration at your convenience.
You agree to immediately notify the Company of any unauthorized use of your login credentials or any other breach of security that you become aware of. The Company shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your login information.
Job Seeker Disclaimer
You understand and consent that in order to facilitate the recruitment process on your behalf, the Company may forward your personal details to potential employers. Additionally, the Company may display promotional excerpts from your information stored within this Platform.
You agree and accept that your current employer may access this Platform. You hereby unconditionally waive any and all claims you may have against the Company as a result of any loss you may suffer due to the information being displayed on this Platform.
You agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this Platform. You accept that the Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel your registration immediately at its reasonable discretion, without any liability to you, if you breach the terms of use.
You acknowledge that while the Company will use reasonable efforts to find a suitable appointment for you, the Company does not guarantee that any employer or client will request your information, interview you, or ultimately hire you.
Enforcement of Compliance
Talentnet shall have the sole discretion to determine your compliance with the prohibited activities outlined above. If Talentnet deems that you are not in compliance, it reserves the right to immediately prevent you from using this Platform without prior notice.
Talentnet will cooperate fully with any law enforcement authorities or court orders requesting or directing Talentnet to disclose the identity or location of anyone posting material in breach of the above terms.
Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be held responsible or liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other form of damages that may arise under any contract, negligence, strict liability, or other legal theory in connection with this Platform and/or the content hosted therein. The sole and exclusive maximum liability that the Company shall bear for all damages, losses, and causes of action (whether in contract, tort (including, but not limited to, negligence), or otherwise) shall be limited to the total amount, if any, paid by you to access this Platform.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Talentnet from any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, expenses or costs asserted by any third party in connection with Your use of this Site.
Consent
By using this Site, you agree to these terms and conditions in full and that these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between Talentnet and Yourself in respect of Your use of this Site and supersede any and all prior arrangements, agreements and representations.
Termination
The Company reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time for any reason, including if the Company reasonably believes that you have violated these Terms.
Governing Law
This User Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws and statutes of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any and all disputes, controversies, or claims arising from or related to this Agreement, as well as the use of this Platform, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts and tribunals located within the territorial boundaries of Cambodia.
The parties hereto agree to submit to the sole and final adjudication of the Cambodian judicial system with respect to the resolution of any issues or grievances pertaining to this User Agreement or the operation of the Platform. The decisions rendered by the Cambodian courts shall be binding upon the user and the Company, and neither party shall seek redress or remedy from any other judicial or arbitrative forum.
