The workshop began with a comprehensive presentation by Ms. Doan Thi Kieu Van, Associate Director of Payroll & Corporate Services at Talentnet. She provided a step-by-step guide to the personal income tax finalization process, including essential procedures, required forms, and documentation.

Updates on Tax Inspections and the Draft Personal Income Tax Law
A highlight of the workshop was the expert analysis of updates in the draft PIT Law (replacement) by Ms. Nguyen Thi Cuc, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tax Consultants Association, Arbitrator of VIAC International Arbitration Center, Former Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation. Ms. Cuc provided valuable insights into the differences between the draft law and the current regulations, offering assessments on how the proposed changes may impact businesses and employees alike.
She also shared her extensive experience with tax inspections, offering practical recommendations for businesses to proactively manage and mitigate risks during inspections. These insights are particularly relevant given the evolving tax settlement processes and updated regulations.

The event received more than 1,300 registrations and over 500 participant questions. The speakers addressed various pressing topics, including changes to family circumstance Deductions, centralized tax declarations, tax allocation to branches, and information-sharing mechanisms between the Tax Authority, Social Insurance, and the Department of Labor.
